Case of the Week 38

Since this is Case 101, I figured I would give a case that is suitable for “parasitology 101″. Hopefully, you will all enjoy this straight forward case. Identify the following eggs from stool wet preparation. They measure approximately 30 microns in length:

Didn’t think this one was easy! Unless I missed the boat…

Small egg size could be Opisthorchis vs Clonorchis, which according to the CDC are indistinguishable from each other but are each eggs of snail flukes…
