Parasite Case of the Week

The following parasites were obtained from a skin scraping of a man with an itchy maculopapular rash.  His dog had a similar rash.  These organisms measure approximately 300 um x 400 um.  Although it is difficult to make out all of the features, you can intermittently see the anterior spine-like legs.   Identification?YouTube Preview Image
