Multimedia File Construction: Powerpoint on Steroids
Hi everyone! Its been eons since I posted. I got lost in the throes of studying for boards and projects.
This year one of my projects is centered on multimedia files for pathology resident education. My first project was mainly podcasting–and the residents really liked it. I wrote a simple how-to for Mac and Windows users which i will attach to this post.
Multimedia files are cool because you can view them on portable devices, they are easy to make, and you can incorporate sound into your images and presentations. You can share cool cases with people or send consults. Short movies (2-5 minutes) are best. You can also take movies with your digital cameras and import the video file into the movie maker to enhance your multimedia file. I’m planning on learning flash this “semester” and blogging about it.
