More people infected from Roanoke restaurant Hepatitis A outbreak - WSET

ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) — The Roanoke health district is seeing more fallout from the Hepatitis A exposure at a restaurant earlier this month.

Officials state that the exposure happened at Famous Anthony’s Grandin Rd., Williamson Rd. or Crystal Spring Ave locations. They have reported that the outbreak has resulted in 35 cases so far.

They have found that 20 of those cases have resulted in hospitalization. They remind folks this is a vaccine-preventable disease.
